Finally the unlock for the Iphone 3Gs for the most recent basebands: 04.26.08, 05.13.04, 5.12.01 y 05.11.07

To proceed you must have your Iphone with Jailbreak. To do that just follow the instructions here : Jailbreak All Iphone 3Gs

To unlock your Iphone to use with any mobile company just follow 3 steps:

1 – Open Cydia and add the repository: repo666.ultrasn0w.com

2 – Search and install ultrasn0w 0.93

3 – reboot your Iphone

Iphone 3Gs 3.1.3 new jailbreak (baseband 05.12.01) Author: IT-Design May 06

Updated 06 May of 2010!! CONFIRMED VERSION WORKING 100%!!

Finally all users that updated to the new firmware 3.1.3 using Itunes can now jailbreak the Iphone to add any application to the Iphone.

THIS WILL NOT UNLUCK YOUR IPHONE!

The new jailbreak like the others call SPIRIT:

Download for windows: http://spiritjb.com/win

Download for Mac: http://spiritjb.com/mac

Open it and run, no need to DFU mode.

Once is finished you should have your Iphone with Jailbreak working and Cydia installed!

Install cracked applications with Itunes:
Open cydia:
- Manage -> Sources -> Edit -> Add

Type: http://apt.macosmovil.com/

Accept then click search:
Search and Install the following applications:
- AppSync for OS 3.1(3.1.2) => (this is also valid for the latest firmware)
- VolPover3G => enable you crack your 3G connection and use applications such Skype, etc with your 3G.
- BossPrefs => fix directories and organize your icons
- Backgrounder => keep applications running while you have your Iphone in standmode

Reset Mysql password (Unix) Author: IT-Design May 05

You can recover MySQL database server password with following five easy steps.

Stop services:

# /etc/init.d/mysql stop
# mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &

#mysql -u root

Output:

Welcome to the MySQL monitor.  Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 1 to server version: 4.1.15-Debian_1-log

Type 'help;' or '\h' for help. Type '\c' to clear the buffer.

mysql>

Type:

mysql> use mysql;
mysql> update user set password=PASSWORD("NEW-ROOT-PASSWORD") where User='root';
mysql> flush privileges;
mysql> quit

Done!

Just make sure you stop mysql then start normal:

/etc/init.d/mysql stop
/etc/init.d/mysql start

Give a try login with root then type your new password:

mysql -u root -p

Tunning Ubuntu Desktop Author: IT-Design Apr 20

Hi All,

This little guide is to make the life easier for the new windows users on Ubuntu world…

Installation:

Get your liveCD on http://www.ubuntu.com/ and follow the installation till the end.

Once your Ubuntu installation is ready let’s starting tunning your Ubuntu to make it looks like a windows box.

- Open the Termina on the top left ( Applications->Acessories->Terminal)
- Login as admininstrator, type:

sudo su

once it prompts for the password use the one you choosed when you installed the system.
At this point you should see something like root@username-desktop ..

1 – Update your packages to the latest version, type:

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

once is finished you’ll be up to the latest version and packages.

Installing Microsoft fonts:
type on the terminal:

 apt-get install msttcorefonts

Installing Messenger( Very similar to MSN ):

apt-get install amsn

View on the desktop My PC, documents, Recicle Bin, Network:
press ALT+F2 then type

gconf-editor

in the box at the top next to the 3 cogs/gears

press enter, now gconf-editor should show up, in the tree view on the left go apps>nautilus>desktop
check the boxes: computer_icon _isible, home_icon_visible, network_icon_visible and trash_icon_visible

Install Emule for download files:
type:

apt-get install amule

That’s it!! You should have now a machine identical to a windows version without need of stupid antivirus or crap Internet Explorer full of bugs and a open door for exploiters…
